Dr. Sonu Acharya completed his BDS in 2003 from the first dental college of India, namely, Dr.R.Ahmed Dental College, Kolkata and completed his Masters (MDS) in Pediatric Dentistry from prestigious Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal in 2006  Presently working as a Professor in Institute of Dental Sciences, SOA University,Bhubaneswar, India. He has many publications to his name in national and international journals.He is also an editorial board member and reviewer in many prestigious journals of repute,both national and international. He is also an active speaker at various national and international conference.

They say if you want to become a good pediatric dentist,you must have three attributes-empathy,kindness and self-confidence.So keeping these in mind ,he started his practice at Bhubaneswar,Odisha and enjoys working with children.He also has the expertise of working on un cooperative children under sedation and chair-side general anesthesia.

The clinic is well equipped with all the treatment needs for children,from prevention(Fluorides,Sealants,SDF etc) to cure(restorations,crowns both stainless steel and zirconia) of dental caries.The clinician also has a good knowledge in preventive and interceptive orthodontics as well as in treating children with special health care needs(Downs syndrome,autism,ADHD,etc).
