Dr. Ashwin Rao has more than ten years of practice behind him. He has always firmly believed that Dentistry for children should be painless. A gifted clinician, he has developed numerous techniques to make Dentistry pleasant and painless for children.

Dr.Ashwin Rao is also involved in academics as an Associate Professor in the department of Pediatric Dentistry at Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore. Most of his research and guest lectures have focused on aspects of painless dentistry for children. He has a been voted as the best teacher by the outgoing batch of Interns on two occasions. He has also co-authored a textbook titled” Contemporary Treatment Techniques in Pediatric Dentistry” published by springer.

“Tiny Teeth” is a children’s dental clinic. It has two branches. One at Surathkal area, Mangaluru run by Dr.Ashwin Rao and the other at Bejai area, Mangaluru run by Dr. Shweta T. Both are Pediatric Dentists by training graduated from the prestigious Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Both the clinics have child friendly ambiances designed to make children comfortable during the dental treatment.
