Dr. Dhaval Parikh, BDS, MDS,  PGD CTM [ICRI , ICR (UK)]

Dr. Dhaval Parikh is a native of Gujarat. He obtained his medical degree at the Government Dental College and Hospital, Ahmedabad (2007) and Post-graduation from the Ahmedabad Dental College and Hospital (2012) with a speciality in Pediatric dentistry. He completed his postgraduate diploma in the Clinical Trial Management   (PGD CTM) conducted by ICRI India and successfully cleared the UK and USA FDA smart exam.

Dr. Parikh started his career as a dental surgeon at S.S.G. Hospital, Baroda Medical College after completing his graduation. After finishing his pediatric dentistry, he started working with Manubhai Patel Dental College, Vadodara.Dr. Parikh is serving as the consulting pediatric surgeon for Kashiben Goverdhandas Children’s hospital, one of the most reputed children’s hospitals in Gujarat. He is considered the driving physician pediatric dental surgeon for R.C.Gandhi Public Dental Hospital and, is serving as a consultant across several dental clinics in Gujarat which includes cities like Ahmedabad, Anand, Padra, Rajpipla, etc. Dr. Parikh was instrumental in planning and setting up the Pediatric dental OPD from scratch to functional for Kashiben Goverdhandas Children’s hospital and R.C. Gandhi Public Dental Hospital.

After treating thousands of pediatric cases and bringing smiles on the patient’s faces, he started his private

practice in Vadodara & Bharuch since last 5 years.

Dr. Parikh has a lot of academic contributions under his belt. He is the pioneer researcher for Molar Incisor Hypomineralization[MIH] and has authored a textbook on Molar Incisor Hypomineralization. Dr. Parikh’s interest in research for MIH has been published in numerous national and international publications. Apart from MIH, his areas of contributions include Chemo mechanical Caries Removal Agents (CMCR), Behaviour Prediction of Children, Lesion Sterilization and Tissue Repair (LSTR / NIET – Non Instrumentation Endodontic Treatment).Dr. Parikh is amongst the top few surgeons in India to peer-review papers in reputed international journals like CPD and EAPD.

Dr. Parikh is also associated with The children’s Hospital (Akota) and Lotus Hospital (Harni Varsiya Ring Road) Vadodara.
